19 Dutch is a 63-story, fully glass-clad apartment tower with 483 studios and apartments and 8,100 square feet of retail space. Located four blocks east of the redeveloped World Trade Center, each unit includes lofty ceilings, high-end appliances and finished oak floors with ceramic tile bathrooms, beautifully illuminated by DRD2 General LED Downlighting. Every design detail is thoughtfully considered to elevate the project. The majority of the units offer expansive views of the midtown Manhattan skyline, Brooklyn, or New York Harbor.
While the multifamily market is on track for another strong year, developers, architects, and builders continue to set the bar high for creating innovative and thoughtful communities that cater to residents’ needs. The 2019 MFE Award winners testify the hard work seen across different sectors of the industry—from luxury and mixed-use communities to those developments serving students, seniors, and low-income households. Adding to Lower Manhattan’s revitalization, 19 Dutch came away with the 2019 MFE Awards for Mixed-Income, Grand.
The DRD2 is a compact LED module with an integrated driver that delivers the optimal balance of form and function. It provides outstanding illumination and color consistency while being simple to specify, install and maintain. When paired with the award winning OneFrame housing, you can achieve the fire, sound, wet location and other ratings required for the most demanding projects.
19 Dutch is more than a dramatic update to the classic skyline of lower Manhattan. It is a shimmering cultural jewel announcing the arrival of a new downtown. One that’s genuinely welcoming, warmly livable, highly enviable, and begging to be discovered. 770 feet above the streets of this newly buzzing neighborhood, the glass-clad marvel features a uniquely patterned frit design that bestows dramatic dimensionality to the exterior of the building.
